My ophthalmologist couldn't explain what happened at my last visit
I was diagnosed with open-angle glaucoma two years ago. My pressure had been sitting at 24 mmHg for months and my drops weren't bringing it down enough. After watching this video I finally understood what was actually going on with the blood vessels behind my eye. My doctor was surprised at my last reading — first time in two years it came back under 18. He asked what I changed and I didn't know how to explain it.

Margaret, same experience here. My wife actually cried when I told her my pressure reading came back normal for the first time in three years. We didn't want to jinx it so we didn't say anything to anyone yet.

My father lost his sight to glaucoma — I wasn't going to let that happen to me
Dad went completely blind at 71. I watched what it did to him — the dependence, the depression, losing the ability to read or recognize our faces. When my doctor told me my pressure was elevated three years ago I became obsessed with finding something that actually worked. I tried every drop they offered and nothing held it steady. This video explained the ocular blood flow angle in a way no doctor ever bothered to. Three weeks in and I can already feel the difference in how my eyes feel in the morning.

I was driving at night again for the first time in over a year
Night driving had become terrifying. The halos around headlights were so bad I stopped going out after dark completely. My daughter was driving me everywhere. I was 64 years old and felt like I'd lost my independence. After watching this presentation and following through, about five weeks later I drove myself to church on a Wednesday evening. My daughter couldn't believe it. Neither could I honestly.

The blood vessel explanation changed everything for me
My specialist kept telling me to just manage the pressure with drops. Never once mentioned blood flow to the optic nerve. I'd been on Latanoprost for four years and my visual field was still slowly narrowing. When this video explained the ocular clog mechanism it finally clicked — we were treating the symptom, not the cause. Took about three weeks before I noticed the tunnel vision feeling starting to ease up. My next visual field test showed no further loss for the first time.

My surgeon said surgery might no longer be necessary
I was scheduled for a trabeculectomy in March. My pressure had climbed to 27 and nothing was bringing it down. I found this video in January. At my pre-op appointment in February my pressure had dropped to 16. My surgeon pushed the surgery back and said he wanted to monitor me another 90 days. I cried in the parking lot. I'm not out of the woods yet but for the first time in years I have real hope.

Read my Bible without glasses last Sunday for the first time in six years
That's all I wanted. Just to read the scriptures without straining. My husband watched me pick up the Bible without reaching for my reading glasses and he didn't say a word — he just squeezed my hand. Small thing to some people. Not to me.

Just finished watching. Anyone here with normal-tension glaucoma who has tried this? My pressure tests normal but my optic nerve is still being damaged. The blood flow explanation actually makes a lot of sense for my situation.
